Daesh should be exterminated before gaining foothold in Pakistan: Sahibzada Hamid Raza
Chairman of Sunni Ittehad Council Pakistan Sahibzada Hamid Raza while talking to different delegations in Faisalabad said “Daesh should be exterminated form Pakistan before it gains a foothold here, misadministration in local bodies’ elections is a question mark upon election commission’s performance. It could not make parties to comply with the ordinance. Those who have won with the help of police and state machinery are blots on democracy”.
He demanded that military be deployed on polling stations during the remaining stages of elections and regarded the deaths that took place during and after the local bodies’ elections as saddening and regarded Sindh and Punjab governments as responsible for such gory incidents. Hamid raza also condemned the killing of PTI members in Nankana Sahab.
He further said “Had the victory in elections been achieved on the basis of performance than Peoples Party would have lost in Sindh. Governments always wins in the LB elections. Politics has become a play of money and Election Commission has terribly failed in organizing fair elections”.
“Selection took place during the election and local governments should be given authority. Authorities of local departments have been confiscated in Punjab”, he added.
