Shiite News: Brother Wajih-ul-Hassan, a student of Jamia Al-Mustafa Lahore, has been missing for the last three days after reportedly being taken from the seminary premises.
Despite the passage of several days, no clear or official information regarding his whereabouts has been provided.
Brother Wajih-ul-Hassan is a well-known student and a devoted lover of martyrs. According to available information, his only alleged “fault” is that he peacefully expressed love for martyrs and openly shared his religious beliefs on his social media accounts.
This situation raises alarming questions: Has remembering martyrs and expressing reverence for them now become a punishable act? Has peaceful expression of belief become intolerable?
Concerned circles have strongly urged the relevant authorities to immediately clarify Brother Wajih-ul-Hassan’s situation. If there are any allegations, they should be presented through lawful and transparent procedures. He should be allowed immediate contact with his family.
Keeping any citizen missing without explanation is a clear violation of justice, human rights, and constitutional principles.
Believers and people of conscience have been urged to pray for the safety and early release of Brother Wajih-ul-Hassan and to raise their voices on this issue, as silence today may become a danger for someone else tomorrow.
