Security Protocol for senior Shia lawyer restored

Sindh police have restored all security protocols and personnel provided to Senior Shia lawyer and Chief of Jafaria Legal Aid Committee Syed Tasavur Hussain Rizvi Advocate. The security was withdrawn on Tuesday in what appeared a reaction to pursue the case of Ali Reza Taqvi who was martyred for the sake of sanctity of Prophet Mohammad [pbuh]. Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat ul Ibad Khan and Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon played active role for restoration of security protocol for Tasavur Rizvi. Syed Tasavur Rizvi Advocate had disclosed to the Shiite News on Tuesday that the Police high officials had threatened him not to follow the petition of martyr Ali Reza Taqvi’s martyrdom that was filed to seek registration of the case against the US diplomats and Police officials. “The police guards deputed for my security had disappeared without any prior notice,” he said and condemned the government for exerting pressure on him to withdraw the case against the US diplomats. He said that the reason behind the withdrawal of the guards is to pressurize him and to take the revenge of the rally held outside the US consulate in Karachi. “Come what may, I shall not bow down in front of the United States and government’s pressure. I shall do my best for the trial the US diplomats in the murder of Ali Raza Taqvi,” he vowed. Police has withdrawn all the security of the lawyer pursuing the case of martyr Ali Raza Taqvi murder on Tuesday soon after the hearing of the case by Additional District Session Judge West-1. Sources said that the American diplomats were also present in the court premises and remained in telephonic contact with their lawyer Naeem Qureshi. The next hearing of the case will be held on 1st of February at the same court. A petition was filed in the City Court to seek registration of the FIR of Raza Taqvi’s murder against the U.S. Consular General Michael Dodman and high police officials. Shaheed Ali Raza Taqvi was martyred in the Labaik Ya Rasool Allah (pbuh) rally held outside the US consulate against the US made film against the sanctity of Prophet Mohammad ((pbuh).
