MWM has not announced to unite with or support any political party during the local bodies’ elections: Ali Hussain Naqvi

Political secretary of MWM Karachi Ali Hussain Naqvi said “We deny rumors of MWM’s alliance with any political party during the local bodies’ elections. MWM has not announced to unite with or to support any political party during the elections. Like the whole country, for Karachi’s elections also all district level political councils have been given the authority for seat adjustments on Union committee level and all candidates of MWM will contest elections on the poll symbol of ‘tent’ so that they could play their political role for resolving the basic issues of people”.

He expressed these thoughts while talking to the meeting of political council of MWM Karachi’s district west. He said “election panels have been established in all districts of Karachi. Central political secretary Nasir Abbas Shirazi Advocate and provincial political secretary Abdullah Mutahiri will be briefed about election union and seat adjustment. Negotiations have been going on with the like-minded political and religious parties on district level and political councils of all districts have the authority and they will take part in elections with moderate political parties in most of the union committees keeping in view the district level and union situations”.

“We are trying to introduce local leadership that, after coming into power, will work for providing basic necessities to people and will create an example of people’s welfare”.
