Allama Sheikh Hasan Jafri, Congratulates Allama Raja Nasir Abbas

Shiite News: Advocate of the Maraji‘ and proponent of interfaith unity, Friday Prayer Leader of Skardu, Allama Sheikh Muhammad Hasan Jafri (دام ظلہ), has extended heartfelt congratulations to Chairman Majlis Wahdat e Muslimeen Pakistan, Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri, on his election as Leader of the Opposition in the Senate of Pakistan.
In his statement, Allama Sheikh Muhammad Hasan Jafri said that the appointment of Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri as Opposition Leader is a matter of pride and a welcome development for the Shi‘a community of Pakistan.
He added that this appointment is not only a recognition of the community’s political insight and sustained struggle, but also a source of hope that the oppressed segments of society will have an effective and principled voice in the Upper House.
He further expressed confidence that Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri will fulfill his religious, political, and public responsibilities in an exemplary manner, and will play a meaningful role in promoting justice, constitutional supremacy, and national unity in the country.
