The New Year Reminds Us That Time Is a Great Trust from Allah: Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri

Shiite News: Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri, in his message at the beginning of the New Year, stated that the New Year reminds us that time is a great trust from Allah Almighty, and that every passing moment bears witness to our deeds.
He said that Pakistan is currently facing severe challenges, including economic pressure, uncertainty, injustice, and moral decline, all of which call upon the nation to return to Allah, engage in self-accountability, and pursue collective reform.
Referring to the Holy Quranic verse, “Indeed, Allah does not change the condition of people until they change what is within themselves,” he urged the nation to begin the New Year with firm resolve to stand against oppression, falsehood, and dishonesty, to adopt truth, justice, and trustworthiness as guiding principles, and to prioritize national welfare over personal interests. He stressed that both rulers and citizens must remain conscious of accountability before Allah.
Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri further prayed that Allah Almighty bless Pakistan with peace, stability, and prosperity, grant the nation unity, patience, and wisdom, and make the New Year a year of reform, supremacy of justice, and liberation from authoritarianism for the country and the Ummah.
