MWM Pakistan High-Level Meeting: Decision to Play Active Role in Gilgit-Baltistan Elections

Shiite News: A high-level meeting of Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) Pakistan was held under the chairmanship of Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri, with participation from senior leadership, political council members, and Gilgit-Baltistan representatives.
The meeting reviewed the political situation in Gilgit-Baltistan and discussed strategy for the upcoming elections.
It was decided that MWM Pakistan would actively participate in the elections and contest all 24 constituencies with capable and principled candidates.
Participants emphasized political ethics, ideological commitment, and moral values in alliance-building. The leadership resolved to field educated, honest, courageous, and socially responsible youth who can genuinely represent public aspirations and struggle for the rights of the region.
Chairman MWM praised party leaders who completed their constitutional terms with integrity and offered special prayers for the speedy recovery of MWM Gilgit-Baltistan President Agha Ali Rizvi.
