Shiite News: Families of missing Shia persons held a protest, stating that years have passed but dozens of Shia youth remain unaccounted for.
Speakers said some individuals have been missing for 10 to 15 years, while state institutions have failed to provide answers or produce them before courts.
Addressing the protest, Allama Sadiq Jafri demanded immediate recovery of the missing persons or their presentation before courts if any charges exist against them.
Protesters appealed to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir to take serious notice of the issue.
Social activist Khalid Rao criticized the continued silence of the authorities, calling it a grave injustice. Protest organizers announced that future demonstrations would be held outside the residences of rulers, including the President House, Governor House, and Chief Minister House, if their demands are not met.
