Ignorant Group Holds Press Conference at NPC, Claims to Be “Representative of Shiite”

Shiite News: An unknown group under the name “Markaz-e-Wilayat-e-Ali Pakistan” held a press conference, claiming themselves as the “nationwide representative of Shiite Muslims.”
This claim has sparked surprise and anger within the Shiite community, as the group has no affiliation with any recognized Shiite organization, lacks public recognition, and is unknown to the general public.
During the press conference, the speakers made baseless and nonsensical statements devoid of logic or sense.
They leveled serious accusations against esteemed religious scholars, including Ayatollah Hafiz Riaz Hussain Najafi, citing a book to allege blasphemy, and demanded legal action without providing any evidence or scholarly reasoning—mere ignorant nonsense.
Similarly, indirect criticism was directed at Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri, a veteran Shiite leader and elected parliamentarian, attempting to portray his constitutional critiques as anti-institutional.
The group expressed unconditional allegiance to issues related to Gaza and Iran, stating “Whatever Pakistan does is right,” but mentioned past tragedies in Parachinar without offering solutions to ongoing problems.
At the end, participants introduced themselves casually as “I run a seminary,” “I am a religious reciter,” etc.
Questions arise: If they are truly a representative group, why is the public unaware of them? Why do they lack rallies, processions, or organized foundations? Their appearance and rhetoric show no deep connection to the Shiite community.
Shiite circles are deeply angered that an ignorant faction suddenly staged a press conference, claiming representation and slinging mud at revered religious leaders.
Real Shiite leadership, like Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri and Ayatollah Hafiz Riaz Hussain Najafi, has served the community for decades with dedication and sacrifice.
Observers suggest this press conference may be part of a suspicious agenda aiming to create division in the Shiite community and weaken unified leadership. Representation of the Shiite nation rests on history, sacrifice, and public trust—not on unknown, ignorant groups.
This incident serves as a reminder for the community to remain united and vigilant.
