Shiite News: Chairman Shia Ulema Council Pakistan, Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, in his message on the anniversaries of the Fall of Dhaka and the APS tragedy, termed both events as dark chapters in national history that can never be forgotten.
He stated that on December 16, 1971, Pakistan was dismembered, and on the same date in 2014, terrorists brutally martyred more than 140 innocent people, including schoolchildren, at APS Peshawar.
He emphasized the need for learning lessons from bitter realities, noting that nations grow stronger by confronting historical truths.
Referring to ongoing insecurity, particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and District Kurram, he said the people remain anxious and are still waiting for lasting peace, urging all stakeholders to reflect on past mistakes to ensure a secure and stable future.
