Women’s Session on Seerah of Lady Fatima (SA) Held in Karachi

Shiite News: A scholarly session dedicated to women on the blessed Seerah of Lady Fatima Zahra (SA) was organized in the Angoli area of Karachi under the patronage of the holy Shrine of Hazrat Abbas (AS).
Women from across the city participated in large numbers, reflecting strong interest in religious learning and spiritual discourse.
The program was held as part of the third annual festival, “Fatima (SA) — Sabeel-e-Nijat (The Path to Salvation)”, organized on the auspicious occasion of the birth anniversary of Lady Fatima Zahra (SA).
Addressing the gathering, Sheikh Salah Karbalai, Chairman of the Department of Religious Affairs at the Shrine of Hazrat Abbas (AS) and Imam of the Shrine, stated that his continuous participation in this blessed gathering for the past three years has further strengthened religious and cultural ties with the believers of Pakistan.
He emphasized that after faith, prayer is the most fundamental pillar of Islam, playing a central role in individual moral training, the stability of the family system, and the strengthening of social values.
Highlighting the Seerah of Lady Fatima Zahra (SA) and the Infallible Imams (AS), he stressed strict adherence to prayer, encouraging its observance, and making it an inseparable part of daily life.
During the session, four research papers on the life and virtues of Lady Fatima Zahra (SA) were presented.
The female researchers who presented these papers were awarded honorary certificates by the delegation of the Shrine of Hazrat Abbas (AS).
Through this festival, the Shrine of Hazrat Abbas (AS) aims to keep alive the memory of Lady Fatima Zahra (SA) and promote her values and principles among various segments of Islamic society.
