Women’s Scholarly Session on Seerah of Lady Fatima (SA) Held in Karachi

Shiite News: Under the auspices of the holy shrine of Hazrat Abbas (AS), a scholarly session for women was organized in the Angoli area of Karachi on the topic of the Seerah-e-Tayyeba of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (SA), with wide participation from women across the city.
The session was part of the third annual festival titled “Fatima (SA) — The Path to Salvation”, organized in connection with the celebrations of the blessed birth anniversary of Syeda Fatima Zahra (SA).
Addressing the gathering, Sheikh Salah Karbalai, Chairman of the Religious Affairs Department of the Shrine of Hazrat Abbas (AS) and Imam of the Shrine, stated that continuous participation in this blessed gathering for three years has further strengthened religious and cultural ties with the believers of Pakistan.
He emphasized that after faith, prayer (Salat) is the most important pillar of Islam, playing a foundational role in individual character-building, strengthening family systems, and stabilizing societal values.
Referring to the Seerah of Syeda-tun-Nisa al-Alameen Hazrat Fatima Zahra (SA) and the Infallible Imams (AS), he stressed strict observance of prayer, encouragement towards it, and making it a permanent part of daily life.
During the session, four research papers on the life of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (SA) were presented, and the female researchers were awarded honorary certificates by the delegation of the Shrine of Hazrat Abbas (AS).
Through this festival, the Shrine aims to keep the memory of Syeda (SA) alive and promote her values and principles among various segments of Islamic society.
