Shiite News: An organized Afghan-based terror network has been exposed in Talagang after the arrest of an Afghan national who confessed to recruiting youth for attacks under Taliban commander Armanai.
The suspect, Qasim alias Hassan, revealed his tribal identity as Dalozi and said he migrated from Gardez, Afghanistan, to Lakki Marwat, Pakistan, a decade ago.

He told investigators that Taliban commander Armanai persuaded him to join jihad and ordered him to conduct a suicide attack on a military fort. Qasim and an associate conducted reconnaissance of the Tajori fort but failed to find an opportunity. Later, Armanai tasked him with recruiting new members, for which he handed over five young men to the commander in exchange for PKR 10,000 per recruit.

He said he later traveled to Punjab for further recruitment but was arrested before proceeding. His confessional video, authorities say, serves as undeniable evidence of continued use of Afghan soil for terrorism inside Pakistan.
