Pakistan Ready to Join Peace Force in Gaza but Rejects Disarmament of Hamas: Ishaq Dar
Shiite News: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar stated that Islamabad is prepared to contribute to a potential international stabilisation force in Gaza, but firmly opposes any mandate aimed at disarming Hamas.
Speaking to journalists in Islamabad, he clarified that “ending resistance is not Pakistan’s job”, but maintaining peace is.
He reiterated Pakistan’s position that all occupied territories, including Gaza, must be completely freed from Israeli occupation, and Israel must be held accountable under international law for war crimes and genocide against Palestinians.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also highlighted the unprecedented suffering of Palestinians, calling for a just resolution guaranteeing their right to self-determination.
