PPP and MQM Responsible for Karachi’s Administrative Collapse: Allama Mubashir Hasan

Shiite News: Senior MWM leader Allama Mubashir Hasan has held the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) directly responsible for Karachi’s worsening condition, citing decades of misgovernance and failure to provide basic civic services.
He said Karachi—despite being the backbone of Pakistan’s economy—suffers from broken roads, piles of garbage, a severe water and sewerage crisis, a collapsing transport system, and an administration that has entirely failed.
Allama Mubashir Hasan said both parties, despite wielding power for decades, treated Karachi merely as a vote bank, taking no serious measures to address the city’s suffering population. He added that the current “fake mayor” lacks even the performance of a basic local councillor.
He stressed the need for transparent planning and joint efforts to rescue the city, warning that if the same governance continues, Karachi’s situation will worsen further.
