Pakistan Navy Successfully Tests Indigenously Developed Anti-Ship Ballistic Missile
Shiite News: Pakistan’s military media wing, ISPR, has announced that the Pakistan Navy has successfully conducted a test of an indigenously developed, ship-launched anti-ship ballistic missile.
According to the report, the missile system is equipped with advanced guidance, in-flight maneuvering capability, and the capacity to engage both maritime and land-based targets with high precision. ISPR termed the successful test a testament to Pakistan’s growing technological capability and its commitment to safeguarding national interests.
The report recalled that earlier, on 30 September, Pakistan had also successfully tested the indigenously-developed cruise missile Fatah-4, with a range of 750 km, featuring a modern navigation system and low-altitude flight allowing it to evade hostile missile defense shields.
The country has faced tense relations with neighboring states in recent months, and experts say these military exercises aim to strengthen Pakistan’s defensive capabilities against external threats.
