Shiite News: Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Vice-Chairman Allama Syed Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi visited Jamiat al-Wilayah in Qom and delivered an important address to the students.
He said that religious students should not limit themselves to formal coursework alone; along with academic study, it is crucial to focus on spiritual development and awareness of current affairs.
He stressed that every religious scholar must be politically conscious so they can properly understand social and national matters.
Referring to examples from Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Lebanon, he explained the responsibilities and expected role of contemporary religious scholars.
Teachers of Jamiat al-Wilayah also attended the session. At the end, students posed questions regarding MWM’s performance, its initiatives, future plans, and the party’s role in Pakistan’s political landscape, which Allama Rizvi answered in detail.
