Granting lifelong immunity to anyone contradicts Qur’an and Sunnah: Chairman MWM
Shiite News: Chairman Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Pakistan and Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, while speaking to the media after offering Fateha at the Judicial Complex, said that those who believe in the Qur’an and Sunnah cannot grant lifelong immunity to any individual.
Doing so, he said, is a clear violation of Islamic teachings and amounts to rebellion. He stated that those who supported or voted in favour of this decision have deviated from the explicit guidance of the Qur’an and Sunnah.
He said that the Constitution has been made controversial; both Parliament and the judiciary have been weakened and oppressed, while usurping elements have established control over state institutions.
Raising serious questions, he asked: “Who carried out the incidents in Chilas, Babusar Top, Quetta, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa? Who is behind them? The nation deserves the truth.”
In the end, he reaffirmed his resolve that the struggle for the supremacy of the Constitution, the rule of law and justice in Pakistan will continue, and that they will keep raising their voice against every form of state oppression, injustice and unconstitutional action.
