CTD, Police Joint Operation in Bannu: 5 Lashkar-e-Jhangvi Terrorists Killed

Shiite News: Acting on intelligence about the presence of banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi militants in the border area of Hovid, the District Police and Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) launched a major operation.
During the encounter, five militants of the outlawed group were killed, while all police personnel remained safe. The operation was led by DIG Bannu Sajjad Khan and continues under the direct supervision of Regional Police Officer Sajjad Khan.
The RPO said that KP Police is always ready to protect public safety, and the operation reflects the force’s commitment to maintaining peace.
Local residents extended full cooperation to the police and continuously shared information on suspicious activities, playing a key role in the success of the operation. The community also expressed solidarity with the police, pledging support for the security of their homeland.
