Menace of terrorism will be eradicated from the country: Air Chief Marshal

The head of Pakistan Airforce Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman, on Thursday, paid a visit to Pentagon where he met his counterpart General Mark A Welsh.

According to the spokesperson of PAF, the air chief highlighted the contributions of Pakistan Armed Forces in the ongoing Operation Zarb-e-Azb and underscored the leading role being played by PAF. While talking about the internal security situation of the country, the air chief reiterated Pakistan’s resolve for eliminating the menace of terrorism from the country. The air chief told his counterpart that sound relationship between Pakistan and Afghanistan is the key to the success of peace process in the region. He also emphasised on the capacity enhancement of PAF in terms of fighter jets, advanced weaponry and allied equipment. General Mark A Welsh lauded PAF’s sound professionalism and its leading role in ongoing anti-terrorist operations.
