Shiite News: Critical details about the mastermind and facilitators of the Cadet College Wana attack have emerged.
According to security sources, all attackers involved were Afghan nationals, and the operation was planned in Afghanistan.
Sources revealed that the final order to execute the attack was given by Noor Wali Mehsud, while the operational planning was conducted by an Afghan named “Zahid.” The attackers were following instructions received from Afghanistan to the letter.
For operational cover, the responsibility for the attack was claimed under the name “Jaish-e-Hind” on Noor Wali Mehsud’s orders. Afghan Taliban reportedly exerted pressure on the attackers not to reveal their true identities, as exposure could increase pressure from Pakistan and allied countries.
Security officials also confirmed that in intercepted audio, the attackers repeatedly used the name Jaish-e-Hind while speaking in Urdu. All equipment for the operation, including US-made weapons, was supplied from Afghanistan.
According to sources, the primary aim of the attack was to heighten security concerns within Pakistan, reportedly at the behest of Indian agency RAW. The identities of the Afghan attackers killed in the operation have removed all remaining doubts regarding the planning and execution of the attack.
