Iranian Deputy Speaker Delivers Strong Address
Shiite News: Addressing the Islamabad Parliament Speakers’ Conference, Iran’s Deputy Speaker Ali Nikzad stated that Iran has always stood for peaceful coexistence and continues to pursue a comprehensive peace based on justice, human dignity, and the freedom of nations.
Nikzad asserted that true peace cannot be built through coercion, occupation, or racial discrimination, emphasizing that the aggressive, warmongering policies of the usurping Israeli regime are the principal cause of instability in the region.
He strongly criticized the United States for backing Tel Aviv, fueling conflicts, and supporting extremist groups, stating:
“A country that imposes wars cannot claim to be a guardian of peace.”
Referring to Gaza, Nikzad said that the Palestinian issue remains the real test of global commitment to human rights. He condemned the silence and complicity of Western powers regarding Israel’s ongoing crimes.
Nikzad reaffirmed Iran’s support for all measures aimed at ending genocide in Gaza, dismantling the occupation, and guaranteeing the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people, including the right to self-determination and the establishment of a free Palestinian state with Al-Quds as its capital.
He also highlighted that the resistance demonstrated during the 12-day war proved that the Zionist regime retreats only when faced with decisive force. Despite decades of sanctions and pressure, Iran continues to achieve significant progress.
Calling for an end to foreign — especially American — interference, he stressed that peace and security cannot be imported from outside, and that global relations must be based on dialogue, mutual respect, and fair cooperation.
Nikzad concluded by expressing full support for the Islamabad Declaration, calling it a potential model for ethical governance, peacebuilding, and sustainable development.
The Speakers’ Conference was held in Islamabad from 10–12 November 2025 on the theme “Peace, Security and Development.”
