Martyrdom Anniversary of Renowned Scholar Syed Saeed Haider Zaidi Observed

Shiite News: November 9, 2025, marks the 13th anniversary of the tragic assassination of Martyr Syed Saeed Haider Zaidi and his wife, martyred by banned Sipah-e-Sahaba terrorists in Karachi on November 9, 2012.
According to reports, the martyr, Syed Saeed Haider Zaidi, was a distinguished researcher, scholar, and translator of over 150 religious and academic books.
His scholarly contributions have been widely acknowledged and appreciated by intellectuals across Pakistan.
Following his martyrdom, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Syed Ali Khamenei sent a gift of the Holy Qur’an and a condolence message to the martyr’s wife, emphasizing that the mission and institution Dar al-Thaqalain should continue with renewed vigor.
Members of the Shia community and various religious organizations paid glowing tributes to the late scholar, declaring that his intellectual and academic contributions would always be remembered.
Supporters and admirers of the martyr reaffirmed their commitment by saying:
“We will not forget, nor will we let anyone forget.”
It was also requested all believers to recite Surah al-Fatiha for the departed souls.
