Allowing Terrorist to Operate Is a Threat to Sindh’s Peace, Says Allama Domki

Shiite News: Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) Sindh’s provincial organizer Allama Maqsood Ali Domki, addressing a crowded press conference at the residence of Sardarzada Mir Faiz Ali Khan Jhakrani, said that the peace and prosperity of any nation depend on law and order. Where citizens’ lives and properties are unsafe, neither education nor business can flourish.
He expressed concern that Sindh’s law and order situation has deteriorated severely, with theft, robbery, abductions, and general insecurity on the rise. He termed the “kidnapping industry” a lucrative business where people are deceived, abducted, and released only after heavy ransom payments—those unable to pay are murdered.
Allama Domki condemned the ongoing tribal feuds that result in the bloodshed of innocent people and urged the police, state institutions, and tribal leaders to play their effective role in ending them.
He said it is alarming that the Sindh police are reducing security for mosques and Imambargahs, while banned terrorist organizations are being allowed to hold public gatherings. He cited the announcement of a rally by a proscribed outfit in Jacobabad as a grave threat to peace and security and urged state authorities to take immediate notice.
Allama Domki questioned how, under Section 144, peaceful citizens are denied permission for gatherings, yet proscribed outfits are given free rein—calling it a double standard.
He also revealed that MWM workers were recently deprived of motorcycles and mobile phones in Jacobabad and demanded that the police ensure the recovery of stolen items. He emphasized that MWM had serious reservations over the withdrawal of security from mosques, religious centers, and scholars and demanded the Sindh government restore necessary protection immediately.
