Okara: SUC Leader Waris Ali Haidari Passes Away

Shiite News: Senior journalist, Zakir-e-Ahl-e-Bayt, and Shia Ulema Council (SUC) leader Waris Ali Haidari has passed away at the age of 52.
He is survived by his widow, two sons and two daughters. Haidari was known for his social, national, and journalistic contributions in Okara. He previously served as President of the Imamia Students Organization (ISO) Okara Unit and as Information Secretary of Tehreek-e-Jafaria Punjab.
His funeral prayers were led by Allama Hafiz Kazim Raza Naqvi on behalf of Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, and he was laid to rest in the local graveyard.
Prominent figures including Qasim Ali Qasmi, Sagheer Abbas Warraich, Zakir Shoqat Raza Shoqat, Sayed Muqarrab Abbas Kirmani, Dr. Afzal Ali, Syed Kausar Rizvi, Faqir Ali Kazmi, Muzammil Hussain, and Syed Zulqarnain attended the funeral in large numbers.
Paying tribute, Qasim Ali Qasmi said Pakistan had lost a fearless journalist, national leader, and social activist, known for his sincerity and service across all sections of society.
The Qul ceremony is scheduled to be held on Friday, November 7, at 2:00 PM at Imambargah Awan Hussain, Okara City.
