MWM Gilgit-Baltistan Announces 12-Member Political Council

Shiite News: Kazim Meesam, Secretary for Political Affairs and Parliamentary Leader of Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Gilgit-Baltistan, has announced the formation of a 12-member Political Council following consultations with Central Secretary for Political Affairs Syed Asad Abbas Naqvi and President MWM GB Agha Ali Rizvi.
The council comprises Sheikh Ahmed Ali Noori, Sheikh Akbar Ali Rajai, Muhammad Ilyas Siddiqui, Saeed Al-Hasnain, Ghulam Abbas, Dr. Mushtaq Hakimi, Haji Najaf Shigri, Kachu Akhtar Ali Khan, Mutahir Abbas, Haji Rizwan, Aqeel Ahmed Advocate, and Ibrahim Azad.
The council will design and implement strategies concerning regional political dynamics, future elections, and policy formulation in line with the party’s ideology and political framework.
It will remain accountable to the provincial cabinet and operate within the principles and guidelines of MWM. The council will also oversee the performance and effectiveness of MWM’s political activities in Gilgit-Baltistan.
