Shiite News: Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) Balochistan leader Allama Wilayat Hussain Jafri has announced that the party will launch a nationwide protest movement starting in November. He declared that the current government, formed through a “stolen mandate,” lacks legitimacy, and the people will not remain silent against oppression.
Speaking at a press conference at Quetta Press Club alongside leaders of the Tehreek Tahafuz-e-Aeen-e-Pakistan, Allama Jafri said that the authorities were denying his party leaders permission to meet Imran Khan, which violated democratic norms.
He further stated that the protest movement would expand beyond Balochistan, encompassing the entire country. “We are answerable before Allah and cannot remain silent in the face of injustice,” he said, reminding that MWM has always stood with the oppressed.
Allama Jafri recalled that when Dr. Mah Rang Baloch staged her protest in Islamabad, MWM chief Senator Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri personally met her in solidarity. He lamented that the people of Balochistan continue to face deprivation and discrimination, adding that this injustice must end.
He also announced MWM’s support for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s upcoming public gathering in Quetta, instructing party members to prepare for November’s protest campaign.
