Propaganda Debunked: Karachi Killings Linked to Wasi Lakho Gang, Not Iran
Shiite News: A news was broadcast on national media last day, or got broadcast, in which it was claimed that a neighboring country was involved behind recent terrorism.
However, after this news, Pakistani Wahhabi extremists started intense propaganda on social media against Shia Muslims and Iran, and tried hard to create sectarian atmosphere.
But this evening, Sama News made an important revelation and told that the arrested accused is associated with Wasi Lakho group, who worked under the command of Uzair Baloch during Lyari gang war.
According to sources, more than 100 cases are already registered against Wasi Lakho, including a case of killing 3 people during extortion from a wine shop near Abbas Town Karachi, which he himself has confessed.
This group consists of about 30 people, who run various extortion networks from all over the city.
According to information, Wasi Lakho is not present in Pakistan at the moment, but operates his group from abroad through online instructions, and is still out of law’s reach.
Wasi Lakho says that
“Whoever does gambling, wine, drugs or smuggling in the city, if police or institutions share in his wealth, then we also have a right.”
Thus, the murder was said a sectarian issue until yesterday evening and on which Wahhabi elements were running anti-Shia and anti-Iran campaign, actually proved to be the result of a private extortion dispute.
Analysts say that if the same speed shown by law enforcement agencies in this case was shown in catching the killers of the nation’s protector martyrs, then the justice system could have restored public trust.
