Cleric Linked to Banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi Arrested for Brutal Child Beating in Rawalpindi

Shiite News: A cleric belonging to the banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi was arrested by the police for brutally torturing a student in a private seminary in the area of Thana Kalar Syedan, Rawalpindi, for not memorizing his lesson.

According to sources, the cleric of the seminary in Thana Kalar Syedan area subjected the child to severe violence for not memorizing the lesson, the video of which went viral on social media.
Police investigated the video and it proved to be genuine, after which a case was registered under the supervision of police officer Kamran Yaqoob on duty in Thana Kalar Syedan area.
The FIR states that during duty in the area, a video clip was received through social media in which a child was brutally tortured in the seminary.

After investigation, it was revealed that this incident is from private seminary Kalar Syedan Campus. Further inquiry revealed that a student named Arman Asif is a memorization student in the seminary, who was subjected to violence by cleric Aakash of the banned organization Lashkar-e-Jhangvi for not memorizing the lesson.
The FIR states that violence against children in educational institutions is a crime by the Government of Punjab.
Maulvi Aakash committed a crime by subjecting the student to violence, on which a case has been registered.

Police immediately took action and arrested the cleric involved in violence against the student. SP Saddar Nabeel Khokhar said that the arrested person will be prosecuted with solid evidence and ensured proper punishment.
He said that violence against children will not be tolerated in any case, this is a punishable crime for which there is no room.
