No Negotiations with TTP under Any Circumstance: Khawaja Asif

SHIITE NEWS: Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has reiterated that there will be no negotiations with the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), terming it a terrorist organization responsible for the blood of thousands of Pakistanis. Asif clarified that Pakistan’s dialogue counterparts are the Afghan Taliban, not the TTP.
The Defence Minister said Pakistan had conveyed its concerns to the Afghan Taliban during the Doha round of talks, especially regarding elements involved in terrorist attacks within Pakistan.
He confirmed that the second round of peace talks will be held in Istanbul from October 25 to 27, where both sides will finalize a roadmap for the implementation of the Doha understanding focused on an immediate ceasefire and sustainable peace.
