Afghan Taliban–LeJ nexus exposed, bomber arrested
Shiite News: Frontier Corps (South) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has arrested a suicide bomber in South Waziristan, uncovering alarming evidence of collaboration between the Afghan Taliban and the banned takfiri outfit Lashkar-e-Jhangvi.
According to security sources, the arrested militant, identified as Nematullah son of Musa Jan, is a resident of Kandahar, Afghanistan, and a student at a local madrassa.
In his confessional statement, Nematullah disclosed that he was indoctrinated by clerics who declared armed action against Pakistan’s forces as “jihad.”
He further revealed that around 40 recruits assembled in Khost before infiltrating Pakistan via Chiwark.
Investigators confirmed that both the Afghan Taliban and LeJ were jointly training and manipulating young Afghan students for terrorist missions inside Pakistan.
Officials warned that this alliance, reportedly encouraged by Indian influence, now poses a grave threat to Pakistan’s national security and regional stability.
