Bannu Intelligence Operation: Banned LeJ Commander Tariq Kachhi and Associate Killed
Shiite News: Security forces have successfully neutralized two terrorists belonging to the banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ) during an intelligence-based operation in the Mughal Kot sector of Bannu, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The killed militants have been identified as Tariq Kachhi, the group’s commander, and his associate Hakeemullah alias Tiger.
According to security sources, the operation targeted the Tariq Kachhi Group of the banned LeJ, which had been involved in terrorist activities and extortion for the past two years. A large cache of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the slain terrorists.
Sources further revealed that the group was facilitating cross-border infiltration of militants from Afghanistan into Pakistan. The successful operation marks a major blow to the network’s militant and logistical infrastructure in the region.
