Armed Crackdown Launched Against Banned Takfiri TLP Terror Outfit in Punjab
Shiite News: The government has announced a decisive operation to dismantle the banned armed Takfiri terrorist group, Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP), across Punjab.
The crackdown includes mass arrests, deployment of security forces, and seizure of the group’s financial assets.
Information Minister stated in strong words that while peaceful protest is everyone’s right, those who dragged state officials from vehicles and opened fire on them cannot be pardoned.
He emphasized that the Punjab operation marks the government’s final warning to those who raise arms against the state. “No individual or group will be allowed to challenge the writ of the state under the guise of religion,” the minister added.
Earlier, interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi had declared that the TLP’s violent actions amounted to an armed rebellion against the state, promising stern action against its operatives and financiers.
