TLP’s Extremism Damaged Both Islam and Religious Harmony, Religious Affairs Minister

Shiite News: Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousuf has declared that the government’s actions are not against scholars or religious institutions, but specifically against banned Takfiri extremist factions that have spread chaos and bloodshed under the guise of religion.
He said, “TLP misused sacred religious slogans for political survival and power, harming both Islam and the faithful.”
The Minister stressed that these groups’ processions and protests were acts of rebellion against the State, not expressions of faith, reaffirming that the decisive operation against their armed wings will continue until peace is fully restored.
