A Shameful Act: Pakistani Media Airs Trump’s Address to Israeli Parliament

Shiite News: Political and religious leaders across Pakistan have strongly condemned Pakistani TV channels for broadcasting US President Donald Trump’s speech in the Israeli Knesset, calling it an act of national disgrace and betrayal of Pakistan’s ideological identity.
Former Federal Minister Dr. Shireen Mazari described the move as shocking and unacceptable, asking, ‘How can Pakistani media air the proceedings of an occupying regime that Pakistan does not recognize?’
Political and religious organizations, including MWM and ISO, denounced the act, saying it undermines Pakistan’s pro-Palestine policy and the vision of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, who declared that ‘Palestine belongs to Muslims, and we will never accept Zionist occupation.’
MWM demanded strict action by PEMRA against the channels involved, while civil society activists warned that such actions signal a dangerous normalization with Israel, contrary to national values.
