Israel Defeated Despite Nuclear Power: Ayatollah Hafiz Riaz Najafi

Shiite News: President of Wifaq-ul-Madaris al-Shia Pakistan, Ayatollah Hafiz Syed Riaz Hussain Najafi, said in his Friday sermon at Jamia Masjid Ali, Jamia-tul-Muntazir, Lahore, that the Holy Qur’an provides solutions to every problem. Referring to the Battle of Badr, he said Allah granted victory to 313 Muslims against 950 infidels — proving that divine support can empower the weak.
He stated that Allah alone strengthens oppressed nations. “Despite nuclear power and Western backing, Israel has failed to defeat Hamas or recover even a single hostage,” he said. “Allah granted steadfastness to Hamas, which stood firm even when Muslim states remained silent.”
Ayatollah Najafi said Hamas’s resilience revived the Palestinian cause globally. Drawing parallels to Karbala, he remarked that just as no one responded to Imam Hussain’s call of ‘Hal min Nasirin Yansurna’, similarly today no Muslim country has stood with Gaza’s oppressed people.
He concluded by urging Muslims to obey Allah and revere the Prophet (PBUH) above all others, as submission to divine guidance is the key to true strength.
