Two Banned LeJ Terrorists Killed in Bannu Operation

Shiite News: Two dangerous terrorists of the banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ), identified as Rashideen alias Malang Yar and Khalid Usman alias Usman, were killed in an intelligence-based operation jointly conducted by the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and district police in Bannu.
According to CTD Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the terrorists opened fire while attempting to flee during the operation, triggering a fierce 25-minute gun battle. Both militants were neutralized in the exchange of fire.
Rashideen alias Malang Yar was the mastermind behind the April 30, 2025, attack on a CTD Bannu team that martyred four personnel and injured one. Khalid Usman alias Usman was involved in several attacks and target killings in 2023, including a November assault on polio duty workers.
CTD recovered two Kalashnikov rifles, six magazines, 23 rounds, two hand grenades, two mobile phones, and two banned TTP identity cards from the slain terrorists. A search operation is underway to apprehend their fleeing accomplices.
