CCD Gujarat’s major operation, two terrorists of banned Lashkar Jhangvi arrested
Shiite News: Crime Control Department (CCD) Gujarat arrested two important terrorists of banned Lashkar Jhangvi in injured condition during police encounters at two different places last night.
The first encounter took place on Shadiwal Road where the CCD team arrested the main terrorist of the recent robbery in Ghala Mandi Hariyawala, Tanveer Hussain son of Shabbir Hussain, resident of Iqbal Town Gujranwala, in an injured condition. According to the police, Tanveer Hussain’s leg was injured in the police encounter.
At the time of arrest, a motorcycle snatched from the limits of Police Station City Lala Musa was also recovered from the possession of the terrorist, whose case number is 444/25, registered under Section 392 of the Pakistan Penal Code. According to police sources, Tanveer Hussain has a record in more than a dozen serious cases.
The second operation took place at the Dhanga Road Dhap Sari stop, where the third terrorist in the grain market robbery case, Manzoor Ahmed alias Jhora son of Muhammad Fazil, resident of Mohalla Kashmir Colony, Gujranwala, was also injured during a police encounter and arrested.
According to the CCD, both the arrested terrorists were active members of the banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi and were wanted for robbery, weapons and other serious crimes, while raids are being conducted to arrest their other accomplices.
