Major operation by security forces, 13 terrorists of banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi killed

Shiite News: Security forces conducted an operation on September 24 in the Daraban area of Dera Ismail Khan on intelligence input where there was information about the presence of terrorists of banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi.

The statement said that during the operation, the Pakistan Army successfully targeted the hideout of the terrorists, as a result of which 13 leaders of banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi were killed.

The ISPR said that arms and ammunition were also recovered from the slain individuals. These terrorists were involved in several destructive acts in the area, including the suicide attack in Dharabhan in December 2023, kidnappings of government officials and innocent civilians, and targeted killings.

The statement said that a clearance operation is underway in the area to eliminate any hidden Lashkar-e-Jhangvi patrons.
