Former Pakistani Envoy slams West’s Anti-Iran Policy as “Bullying”

Shiite News: Maleeha Lodhi, in an interview with IRNA in Islamabad on Sunday, said that the opposition of the US and its allies to lifting sanctions on Iran proves that the Western front has prioritized pressure over diplomacy and the US and its allies are following the same path.

Maleeha Lodhi emphasized that there is no autonomy and freedom of action within the European parties. They only pretend to work independently of the US, while in reality they are pursuing Washington’s goals.

Pakistan’s former ambassador to the US called the Trump administration’s behavior bully-based and said that unconditional negotiations are the only way out in this situation, but the severity of US sanctions continues to be an obstacle. He said that countries cannot be brought to the negotiating table through bullying.

He said that the United Nations Security Council could not approve the resolution proposed by South Korea as the head of the Security Council on September 19 to lift sanctions against Iran.
