More than 200 Pakistani pilgrims mistreated at Iraq-Iran border
Shiite News: More than 200 Pakistani pilgrims, all under the age of fifty, have been stopped at the Iraq-Iran border.
According to the pilgrims, they are facing unnecessary obstacles and difficulties, which is tantamount to open mistreatment.
National and social circles have reacted strongly to this situation, saying that such cruel behavior towards Pakistani pilgrims cannot be tolerated in any way.
They said that obstructing the journey to the holy shrine is an unacceptable act that hurts the feelings of the pilgrims.
It was further said that the government of Pakistan should take immediate steps on this issue so that pilgrims are allowed to cross the border with dignity and convenience.
Public and religious organizations have demanded that the humiliation and difficulties of the pilgrims be addressed immediately, otherwise this issue may turn into a public protest.
