Allama Sajid Naqvi Welcomes Recognition of Palestine, Urges Exposure of Imperialist Role

Shiite News: Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, reacting to the recognition of Palestine as a state by Britain, Canada, Australia, and other countries, said that this achievement is the outcome of the sacrifices of oppressed Palestinians whose blood has shaken the conscience of the world.
He noted that while Western countries are now recognizing Palestine, these same nations had once created, supported, and nurtured the illegal Zionist state of Israel. “This step is welcome and the first fruit of the sacrifices of the oppressed, but the world must not forget that the real force behind this oppression and injustice is imperialism,” he emphasized.
Naqvi further urged that those countries who have spoken out against the genocide of Palestinians should take practical steps—such as withdrawing their capital from imperialist banks, recalling ambassadors from Israel and its backers, and boycotting their products.
He added that the recognition of Palestine is a victory of the continuous struggle of Palestinians and the steadfastness of the oppressed people of Gaza. However, he cautioned that verbal protest alone is insufficient. “Practical measures are inevitable to confront Zionist aggression and expose imperialist motives,” he said.
