Shiite News: Security forces conducted a major intelligence-based operation in the Kulachi area of Dera Ismail Khan, successfully neutralizing seven terrorists affiliated with the banned outfit Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ).
According to a statement from ISPR (Inter-Services Public Relations), the operation was launched after credible intelligence indicated the presence of LeJ militants in the area.
“Security personnel effectively targeted the terrorist hideout and eliminated the threat,” the statement said.
7 terrorists killed, including: 3 Afghan nationals, 2 suicide bombers
Weapons, explosives, and other materials used in planned terror attacks were recovered from the site.
A clearance operation is ongoing to ensure the area is free of any remaining militant presence.
This successful operation comes amid rising concerns about targeted killings of police officers, with evidence pointing toward Lashkar-e-Jhangvi and Sipah-e-Sahaba’s renewed activities in the region.
Security agencies have reaffirmed their commitment to completely eliminate terrorist networks operating inside Pakistan.
