Grand gathering of Youm e Mustafa (PBUH) held at Karachi University
Shiite News: A grand gathering was held at Karachi University under the title of the annual Mustafa (PBUH) Day, in which a large number of students including teachers participated, while scholars and mashaikhs belonging to different schools of thought addressed.
Vice Chancellor of the university, Professor Dr. Khalid Mahmood Iraqi said that with the arrival of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), the whole world received a great message of humanity, brotherhood and peace.
Through his good life and practical example, he taught the world that the real success of humanity lies in establishing mutual love, justice and peace.
He said that the biggest reason for the problems faced in the present era is that we are moving away from the life of the Prophet (PBUH).
Karachi’s renowned religious scholar and MWM Pakistan leader Allama Syed Hassan Zafar Naqvi said that there have been periods in human history when society was divided into different units and there was such injustice that the value of an animal was considered higher than that of a woman and a slave.
In such an era of oppression and barbarity, the Prophet of Islam Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (peace be upon him) raised his voice against the system of that time and stood firm in the face of falsehood.
Referring to the current global situation, he said that today in most countries of the world, including America, there is no restriction on offering prayers and fasting.
The real restriction begins when a person challenges false gods and stands against the false system. Allama Hassan Zafar Naqvi said that raising his voice against oppression is the Sunnah of the Messenger of God and this is the path that can save humanity.
It should be noted that this annual Mustafa Day program was organized by the Office of the Student Affairs Advisor, University of Karachi and ISO at the parking ground, opposite the Arts Lobby, University of Karachi.
On this occasion, University of Karachi Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Khalid Mahmood Iraqi, Allama Syed Aqeel Anjum Qadri, Professor Dr. Zahid Ali Zahidi, Student Affairs Advisor, University of Karachi Dr. Nosheen Raza, Campus Security Advisor Dr. Salman Zubair and a large number of teachers and students from various departments of the University of Karachi were present.
