Iran Bears the Moral Responsibility of the Muslim Ummah, Says Deputy Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind

Shiite News: The Deputy Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Malik Mohtasim Khan, stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran is not only bravely enduring its own challenges but also shouldering the moral responsibility of the entire Muslim Ummah.
Iran has always supported the Palestinian people and will never step back from this commitment.

He made these remarks while addressing the inaugural session of the 39th International Islamic Unity Conference in Tehran.
He emphasized that the conference, held in the name of the Prophet of Islam (PBUH), is especially crucial in the current context, as the world is engulfed in war, genocide, and injustice, where the powerful are crushing the weak and justice has been sidelined.

Malik Mohtasim Khan noted that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was a beacon of dignity and mercy, and adhering to his teachings is the path to salvation for the Ummah. However, today, racism and hatred have divided societies worldwide.

He expressed deep concern over the increasing violence against women, contrary to the Prophet’s (PBUH) emphasis on women’s active participation.

Criticizing global institutions, he said that instead of supporting the oppressed, these organizations are backing oppressive and rebellious powers.
He described the situation in Gaza as outright genocide and stated that while the enemy aims to eliminate resistance, Gaza remains steadfast. “Gaza may be bent, but it is not broken. We will never surrender and will continue to resist.”

The Deputy Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind saluted the Islamic Republic of Iran for courageously enduring global pressure and sanctions while standing firmly with the Palestinian people.
He urged Muslims to set aside differences and focus on unity, knowledge, and technology to counter anti-Islamic forces effectively.
