Unity Week Carries Message of Muslim Ummah’s Solidarity,” Says Zain Raza Rizvi
Shiite News: In a message marking Hafta-e-Wahdat (Unity Week), Zain Raza Rizvi, a leader of Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM), stated that the week, observed annually from 12th to 17th Rabi al-Awwal on the directive of the founder of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini, aims to promote brotherhood, solidarity, and unity within the Muslim Ummah while thwarting the conspiracies of Islam’s enemies.
He emphasized that it is the responsibility of the lovers of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) to play their role in eradicating anti-state and sectarian elements within Pakistan.
“The enemy consistently attempts to divide the Ummah to achieve its malicious goals, but we must collectively foil these plots through unity and solidarity,” he added.
Rizvi further noted that the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and Imam Jafar al-Sadiq (AS) guide Muslims toward unity, knowledge, piety, and service to humanity.
These principles, he said, can lead Pakistan and the entire Muslim Ummah toward progress, peace, and stability.
