Unity is the True Strength of the Muslim Ummah: Sheikh Zahid Hussain Zahidi

Shiite News: Hujjat-ul-Islam Sheikh Zahid Hussain Zahidi, Senior Vice President of Anjuman Imamia Baltistan, has said that the real strength of the Muslim Ummah lies in unity, not division.
Quoting the Qur’anic verse “And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided” (Al-Imran 3:103), he emphasized that this eternal principle is the path through which the Ummah can attain dignity and honor.
He explained that Unity Week is a reminder that our true identity is being the Ummah of the Holy Prophet ﷺ. “Our power does not lie in our numbers, but in our unity.
Global arrogance and imperialism have always tried to weaken us through internal differences, but if we remain attached to the Qur’an and the Seerah of the Prophet ﷺ and his family (Ahl al-Bayt), no force on earth can defeat us.”
Referring to Imam Khomeini’s vision, Sheikh Zahidi said that designating the days from 12th to 17th Rabi-ul-Awwal as Unity Week was aimed at bringing Shia and Sunni Muslims together to celebrate the blessed birth of the Holy Prophet ﷺ with brotherhood and harmony, sending a clear message to the world that Muslims are one — their God is One, their Prophet ﷺ is One, and their Qur’an is One.
He concluded by urging Muslims to rise above sectarianism, foster unity in their ranks, and stand together against the enemies of Islam, proving through their actions that “Unity is our strength, and division is our weakness.”
