42nd International Milad Conference Held at Aiwan-e-Iqbal, Lahore under Minhaj-ul-Quran
Shiite News: The 42nd Annual International Milad Conference was held at Aiwan-e-Iqbal, Lahore, under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran International.
The historic gathering brought together renowned scholars, spiritual leaders, Qurra, Naat reciters, and thousands of devotees of the Holy Prophet ﷺ from around the world. The event served as a milestone in spreading the message of love and Seerah of the Prophet ﷺ globally.
Founder and Patron-in-Chief of Minhaj-ul-Quran, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, in his inspiring keynote address, said that Allah Almighty has declared the Holy Prophet ﷺ as Siraj Munir (a radiant lamp).
He added that the Prophet’s ﷺ blessed life is a beacon of light for all humanity. The Messenger ﷺ was the embodiment of the highest morals, kindness, gratitude, mercy, and forgiveness.
Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri further explained that the Holy Prophet ﷺ has two Milads: the physical Milad, manifested in his blessed birth on 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal, reflecting his beauty; and the spiritual Milad, manifested in his Prophethood, reflecting his perfection and spreading his light across humanity.
He highlighted that in the subcontinent, efforts were made to separate Milad and Seerah, creating division, but Minhaj-ul-Quran unified both. Today’s magnificent gathering proved that the lovers of Milad and Seerah stand together on one platform, spreading the love and message of the Prophet ﷺ worldwide.
A special feature of the conference was the participation of distinguished Qurra from Iran.
The conference was presided over by Chairman of the Supreme Council, Prof. Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, and President of Minhaj-ul-Quran, Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri.
