Shiite News: Chairman of Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) Pakistan, Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri, has said that unjust decisions of the judiciary are negatively impacting the country’s institutions and undermining the public mandate.
Speaking to media representatives alongside opposition leaders, he stated that the judiciary is meant to uphold justice and safeguard constitutional order, but in Pakistan, many ongoing political, economic, and social crises stem from judicial failures.
He pointed out that past examples—including the hanging of prime ministers, granting dictators license to abrogate the constitution, and giving them unnecessary powers—show how judicial actions have contributed to national instability.
Senator Jafri stressed that when a judge deliberately delivers decisions under pressure or dictation, he loses both his legal and moral credibility to sit on the bench. “Such acts amount to the murder of justice,” he remarked.
He added that this culture of lawlessness has weakened state institutions, paralyzed parliament, and violated the people’s electoral mandate, creating serious national crises. “The root cause of the current turmoil lies in the judiciary’s internal flaws and its unjust verdicts,” he concluded.
