Survival of country lies in supremacy of constitution, Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas

Shiite News: Head of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri, while addressing a news conference with PTI opposition leaders in Islamabad, said that Pakistan was fragmented after the tragedy of 1971, but the 1973 constitution was made to keep this fragmented homeland together.
This constitution is a “social contract” that united the provinces and the people, gave existence to the state, gave system to institutions and gave unity to the nation.

He said that where there is no law, only the principle of force prevails and society takes the form of a jungle. Unfortunately, today Pakistan is again under the grip of constitutional violation and lawlessness, the mandate of the people is being violated, institutions are paralyzed and the people are deprived of their basic rights.

Allama Nasir Abbas said that at a time when floods are wreaking havoc, the rulers are celebrating. This attitude is not only an indifference but is tantamount to pouring salt on the wounds of the people.

He said that history has proven that dictatorship and oppression are always temporary. The real power is not in bullets and tanks, nor in oppression and intimidation, but in the support of the people and soft power, which wins hearts and strengthens nations.

He further said that the guarantee of Pakistan’s survival and the future of the people lies only in the supremacy of the constitution.
If we continue to disregard the constitution, history will also place us in the ranks of those tyrants whose fate was tragic.
Allah Almighty promises that injustice never lasts and the oppressed ultimately succeed. God willing, the people of Pakistan and the deprived classes will be the winners.
